     Here you will find information regarding our national history, chapter history, community service, programs, and accomplishments of our chapter, Omicron Psi.

     As the first African American sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. prides herself on catering to communities in need through our dedication to service, leadership development, and strengthening the bonds of African American women through sisterhood.

​

      The Omicron Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated at Tulane University has dedicated herself to service since our charter in 1990. We have a long history of excellence as we have provided programming for promoting women’s leadership, sisterhood, entrepreneurship, social justice, and scholarship. We look forward to the growth and future service of our chapter under The Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood initiatives of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed.
