Evan Simone Mattox, Corresponding Secretary and Membership co-chair, is a senior majoring in Psychology and Political Science, with minors in Africana Studies and Sociology. She is additionally pursuing a Gender Based Violence certificate to complement her degree. Evan was raised in Montclair, New Jersey but currently lives in New York City. She was initiated into the Omicron Psi Chapter in Fall ‘23. In addition to secretary and membership duties, Evan is an advocate with Sexual Aggression Peer Hotline and Education (SAPHE) and is a member of Phi Alpha Delta (Pre-Law fraternity). She also works as an undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Economics studying discrimination in mental health care. Outside of campus involvement, Evan utilized her work experience in local political campaigning to inform her work as a legislative intern on Capitol Hill this past summer. After college, Evan plans to attend law school or pursue a career in politics.
