Amanda Diaz

Madam Vice President 

Amanda is a current junior studying Public Health. She is from New Orleans, Louisiana and serves as our Vice-President and Chairperson of the Programs Committee. Amanda is a first-generation college student and Posse Scholar here at Tulane. On campus, she is a member of Tulane Emergency Medical Services as a trained EMT and also works as a Student Assistant at the Tulane Goldman Center for Student Accessibility. This summer, Amanda interned at the American Diabetes Association working under the director of Youth and Family Initiatives. Amanda has been a freelance Makeup Artist for 4 years and enjoys volunteering in her community and helping children from her hometown seek access to higher education. In the future she aspires to attend graduate school to attain a Masters degree in Public Health Administration, and then go on to Medical School to become a Surgeon.
