Olivia Nelson is a junior from Oxford, Mississippi. She is majoring in Public

Health and Latin American Studies with a minor in Spanish. In the Omicron Psi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Olivia serves as the Sergeant-at-Arms, Chaplain and Homecoming co-chair. On campus, she currently serves as the secretary for Compassion in Action, is a Big Easy EC volunteer, and a Resident Advisor in Monroe Hall. In the future, Olivia plans to get her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health and work to improve the quality of birth

experiences for Black women and children.
