Kayla is a current senior, studying Computer Science and Psychology. On campus, Kayla serves as a Resident Advisor for Tulane’s Housing and Residence Life. She is a student instructor for the course Foundations of Programming, and she volunteers with Microsoft TEALS at Saint Katharine Drexel Prep Academy. Here, she teaches young women how to code. She is recognized as a Posse Scholar in the 12th cohort for the Tulane Los Angeles Posse Program. Kayla aspires to work in software development.
