Alecia Hobdy

Madam Vice President

Alecia Hobdy is a Senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Health and Wellness on the Pre-Law track. In addition to serving as Omicron Psi’s current Vice-President, she serves as the Vice-President of the Black Pre-Law Society as well as Secretary of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. She is also a Greek Ambassador and is an active member of the Black Student Union and African American Women’s Society. She is also a former Newcomb Reproductive Rights and Reproductive Health Intern where she worked in legislative advocacy with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. Alecia is currently working at a local law firm, Simon, Peragine, Smith, and Redfearn, LLP but has previously worked with District Attorney Lynneice O. Washington and Civil Court Judge Annetta H. Verin. After Graduation, Alecia will be working towards receiving her Juris Doctor degree and pursuing her career as a Criminal Defense Attorney.
